Procedure for allocation of responsibility

At SustainCERT, the CEO is responsible for the delegation of responsibilities, including oversight of Quality Management System (QMS) functions in accordance with ISO 17029 and UNFCCC Article 6.4. The allocation of QMS top management functions is outlined below.

Responsibility allocation is periodically reviewed through internal audits to ensure the procedure remains effective and compliant with applicable standards.

CEO Responsibilities (Marion Verles)

• Determines the human resource requirements
• Supervises the finances, administrative matters and deals with contractual matters and arrangements
• Approves contract reviews

Validation and Verification Responsibilities (Marion Verles)

• Performance monitoring of validation and verification personnel
• Makes a final decision on validation and verification opinions and reports.

Head of Quality and Compliance (Shivraj Sharma)

• Evaluates the competence of personnel, qualifying them, and selecting members of technical review teams
• Supervises the implementation of validation and verification procedures
• Manages all activities related to the safeguarding of impartiality functions
• Establishes, implements, and maintains a quality management system
• Formulates, documents and supervises all policies and procedures
• Makes decisions relating to disputes and complaints.
• Maintains the competence of our validation and verification personnel
